Still working on my portrait/ face skills. I don't remember what I searched for the original ref so I just winged it since I am gauging my "sick leave" recovery. She definitely ended up looking older, but the eyes always bothered me in the original. I mainly just like how much more "alive" emotionally she looks in the newer version.
You appear to have a better grasp on blending skin tones and using more vivid colors.
