The face is a little jarring for me but ultra-realistic. Given the color-scheme, I understand; that saxophone's dark enough I'd mistaken it for a bass clarinet from a distance. My favorite track of his is Impressions.

the detail and colors come together so nicely and the size makes it a great desk background keep it up this is amazing ;)

Thanks, yeah I make a lot of my art so that I can use it as a background.
Looking at it regularly helps me spot the strengths and weaknesses of my pic, so that I can work on those. although this one was originally a lot wider... which helps give it even more atmosphere... though that would give such a tiny preview image that I decided to do it this way.
