NOTE: I Do NOT own Razer and Aya.

My first time joining Jazza's monthly challenge. This was a challenge I actually made time for, and I HAD to pay tribute to one of my favorite OTPs, Rayer and Aya from Green Lanter: The Animated Series. I went with a traditional approach with ink pen over pencil, watercolor, a dab of watered-down black and white acrylics, some prismacolor colored pencils on 30 x 40 cm watercolor paper. I had to touch it up a bit due to poor lighting in my room. Finding time in the morning in the cold is not good for someone who needs has work in the morning. Anyway, it's at least good to finally make some proper fanart for these 2.

I'm a sucker for anime-ish and ultra kawaii romance scenes. If Razer ever found Aya again, he would do everything and anything with her out of love, even if it means having spoonfuls of ice-cream sundae shoved in your face.

I just wish I gave myself more time, rather than the 2 weeks before the deadline. That way I would have done drawing studies of these characters more. This is what happens, I don't do my drawing studies and then regret it later on. What I DID right, was gathering a folder of references. I kid you not, references DO help, A LOT! I wish I had experimented drawing pixel or holographic hearts for Aya. I ended up repainting over the failed attempt with watered-down white acrylic, which helped. Oh yeah, painting or drawing chocolate syrup...not easy. My brother says it looks like Razer is eating s#*t, and he may be right about that.

Anyway, best of luck to everyone else who entered. This challenge has been fun ^^
