I wanted to create an image that resembles the power of the sun...took a few tries, but I'm quite satisfied with what I have here
....

This is a success
Unlike your other ones, I really think this one is a success. It has a clear continuity of small wholes that make up a unique landscape unto itself. There's no horrible color rings in the center, everything looks intentional with no "artistic liberties" taken. Ever looked at Swill Architecture? There is a clear intention behind every line that makes this work really well. No offense but some of your other work I would never put on my desktop. This is both graphically stunning and beautifully simple to look at; a quality that your other work seems to be lacking. I see directionality here that isn't overused, nothing is heavy handed about it yet it seems so dense with information.

Most of my art is experimental, you'll notice certain things recur but for the most part I'm just messing around to see what new stuff I can find; this was one of my early ones, and I'm very happy that you like it!

I'm somewhat cheap, so I went ahead and used GIMP which is a free version of photoshop. The art itself is not at all hard to make, most of it is rendered by the computer but it does take time and effort to get the pics right. I always begin with an end in mind ^^
My thoughts on this.
instead of this being the inner core of an active star, it could be the core remnants of a star that just went Nova (it exploded..)
Just so you know, i dont normally review in the art sec, this caught my attention, i just had to say somethng on it... so for grabbing my attention and having this epic pic, i give u a 10 and a 5'ver.
