Gr8 pics there! Definitely good to practice drawing specific parts of a body to understand their perspective. Like the line work especially in the January, March, April, July and December photos. Good luck practicing with these studies next year!
Yet another slow year of art, 'cause I've been very busy this year.
Last year was a lot of hand and gesture studies. This year was the year of practicing drawing digitally, applying what I learned last year to the pictures in my head (so those silhouette drawings and random poses are using what I learned from gesture practice, for instance), and LOTS of WIP's that I end up shelving or scrapping because my perspective or anatomy skills weren't yet strong enough to continue. Shoulders and arms, man. Shoulders and arms.
I began practicing face studies since faces, ESPECIALLY noses in perspective, are HARD for me to draw, but hjdfkjgahdls--
I began drawing "fake screenshots" mostly to challenge myself. If I was going to procrastinate with my WIP's, projects, and studies, I might as well draw something I never tried drawing before, like mouth shapes, different expressions, and minimizing the amount of strokes I use to draw lines. Struggling with fake screenshots reminds me why I should go back to studying.
