This looks like it could belongs to a visual novel. Superb work, seriously
As my half year milestone since beginning this journey into drawing, I present you my first villain in all his glory. I tried a lot of new tricks I've never attempted before which was difficult for my first time. The main issue was the "behind the character" wide angle shot, distorting the room a bit. I'm pretty happy with the result, but am exhausted. I'll be doing some other stuff in the next week or two, but I still have a few more pieces left in me until I go back into concept mode.
As for the piece, we see Ivan Berling standing in a high ranking officer's personal library. The scene is a period earlier in the story where he's still Commander. His superiors had been devising a treaty to end the war, but Ivan's blood thirst runs deep, to the point he'll do ANYTHING to make sure the enemy is wiped out. I won't say who's blood is on the treaty in his hands, but perhaps you'll find out as I keep introducing more characters. This is the turning point of this world's future. Things are about to get very bad.......for everyone.

Thank you very much! :D
This is a very impressive piece
Especially the background with all it's details and light effects, iluminating the room and character.
I think the colors set the mood well, the angle of the character is well done too :)
Thank you. I'm glad you and others are liking it. I tried a lot of things out of my comfort zone. :P
Well, he does look villainous.. :3
I really also like the bloom effect.
There you are. Haven't seen you in awhile. Anyway, thanks!
