This was created by sketching the picture on a piece of paper. Then I got a plastic plate, placed it over the paper, and taped it to the paper. I got a small etching tool and carved the picture into the plastic. After the picture was carved, I got some brown ink and rolled it all over the plate. Then I removed the ink with a brushing tool until the picture look like what I wanted it to look like. I did this three tiems and pasted the three together in one long picture.

Hope it makes you chuckle. Took me 4 weeks to make.

looks good

looking at its low score it seems that a lot of people dont really see what you were going for here. it has an interesting style to it but i feel it might have been just a tad oversimplified. not too much, but just a bit

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Actually it was a tad bit over complicated. I did it by carving into plastic and filling every embedment with ink. Then I repeated about 7 times to to get just what I wanted.

wow.

I Favorited you, I love you style.

This is amazing. Its like something everyones done in there life.

timeless art. it even looks aged.

great job

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Cool my first favorite heh! I wasnt expecting anyone to actually appreciate the style of this monoprint, but I am really glad someone understands it. I am mainly an abstractionist so the pieces can be interpreted in many ways. I originally made this thinking it would just be funny. However, it turned out to look pretty cool. Thanks for the fav!
