The Tree of Life

Share

page 22 of my picture book.. please click on the picture for full view!

i enter a strange forest and find an ancient tree of many names. Some call it "the tree of life", some call it "the tree of love"," the tree of Ea", "heigih", "the great tree" while others say it should have no name at all.

underneath this magnificent tree i begin to meditate.

as time goes by, i begin to feel a strange connection with the tree. i feel its history, its mood, its breath, even its thoughts and dreams..

This tree is conscious.

for 23 days i remain silently meditating under the tree. feeding off its loving energy.. when i begin to feel my mind leaving my body. my ego slipping away.. as though there is no "me" there is no "i".

"i" am now a part of the tree itself. And the tree is a part of me, we are one being, and as i ponder this startling idea, a new phase of conscious awareness begins..

Splendid work as always.....I have no words to describe how much I like this and how much envy I have for the skills you possess.

FaLk responds:

thankyou very much :)

this is intricate as fuck; a great deal of time and thought must have gone into it.
i very much like pieces like this because it allows us to interpret it in so many different ways because it is so complex.
nice job man

FaLk responds:

thanks man, yeah, thats exactly whats intended, the person interprets each image based on their current frame of mind.
