This was done with water color and pen. I wanted to call it, "She's in Love" But you can't see the male because I was only really testing out a technique in this one- I don't outline my paintings. Ever. I feel like it makes them look cartoony. And I still can't decide whether I like the idea of outlining or not. Any thoughts?

Thank you very much. I LOVE watercolor. I was teaching my friend about it. And she asked me what it would look like inked... So I did. I suppose I'll try inking my next piece. (: Thank you very much!

I think pen works pretty well with watercolors, and gives them some needed intensity. I feel like watercolor paintings are often too light and dreamlike, which doesn't really suit every subject.

I have to agree that some water colors need to have more contrast. But you know, if you've seen some of the other stuff, you'll see I have some very hard edges in it. (: I'd like to see what you think of those.... If you'd like. Thank you.
