Nice work

I really like these types the black and white is very nice some good detail would love to see the full page filled maybe even some borders and frames to accent it better but it's good stuff and I enjoyed it very much so keep up the good effort very nice drawing here

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Some black and white borders and or frames even some color ones would suffice

~X~

Doomroar responds:

Thanks man, yeah i have been considering drawing on the frames too, but always get worried of smearing the ink and making a mess out of the page, so i never know if i should do the borders first or last, and i end just avoiding them.

ah man I love it~ all the fangs and grotesque creatures~ What's your inspiration? how do you create such fun creatures? do you do straight pen?

Doomroar responds:

Sorry for the late reply, yes i draw directly with a 005 pen, trying to control the ink from spreading is kind of difficult some times so i use this page as cover, the page was originally just going to be blank, and it ended with this on it...

As for inspiration, i can't really say much, most if not all of my drawings are improvised, some times i choose a theme and see where i take it, but that's pretty much it, it is once i finish that i get to notice what may have influenced the drawings (which can be a lot of things), mostly by resemblance but it is not a conscious process, for example after i finished the 7 headed dog millipede, i felt like drawing something water related, so i looked at some pictures of corals and sea anemones, and this was the end result, however that was actually a rare thing for me to do.

All the more intriguing detail in this one too! Really digging the six-mouthed dog that looks quite a lot like Akamaru. The face, at least. Subconscious similarities, I wonder? The bottom one looks intense, and the oceanic critters dwelling in their own background space are a strange but interesting contrast.

Doomroar responds:

Now that you said it, he does look like Akamaru, noticing just now, but what i did notice before was that the bottom one was inspired by Dewgong from pokemon, just that this version has 3 horns and a great smile.
