This was a experimenting piece, the technique used was very time consuming as it required many, many transparent layers of paint and had to wait until it was completely dry before adding another layer, each layers required at least a day to dry depending of the pigment color (could be up to 5 days). But the end result is quite interresting when seen in person, all the layers of pigments make it look like you see through glass.

The heaviness of the figure's trench coat really set it apart from the liveliness of the background, but also of the burdens he carries. In a really nice way, he is disconnected from reality, and he deliberately sets himself apart so that he can continue to feel something from the life he has chosen.
