Wow those hand painted textures are amazing! :D
I self-taught myself programming (AS3) all of last year and it's my new passion - so much so that I switched out of my film major and am now doing computer game development. Long story short - I am also learning to 3D-model at school (using Maya). I've only been at it for about 15 weeks but I'm starting to get the hang of it (doing UVs is a pain in the ass though haha). However, I struggle with making decent textures (only thing I've ever painted for them was small details). Any tips or advice on becoming better at textures?
