ok so this is my entry for the Hero pet challenge hosted by Jazza.

a little about my character-

i thought it would be cool to have my hero be a princess instead of princesses always in need of rescuing. I tried to make her princess outfit as close to a medieval style dress as i could with keeping it simple and clean. she also has a little crown.
her pet is a snake (i like to think she wears it around like a boa while shes in her castle)
her snake has many different uses to help her on her journey- perhaps to rescue a knight from a dragon for a change- such as a bridge, a rope/ swing and a medieval sling to hurl rocks at evil ogres! the tip of the snakes tail could also be used as a whip.
she also has a bow and arrow for a longer range weapon.

the first image is just a basic of the characters.
the next image is an example of her using the snake as a sling ready to throw a rock
the next image is her using the snake as a swing/ rope in a tree
and the final image is her using the snake as a bridge.

i made the snake similar colours to her outfit and accessories so that they compliment each other and not look so out of place. the marks on its head resembles the crown my little princess wears and they both have purple eyes.
