More talk about dead birds please.

A grey catbird. This bird I have seen on June 1st, 2012, a strange bird. It had passed away so I observed its dead body. It's body was fresh, but it's eyes were already taken away. Almost feels like a message. Hrm.

Well it was fresh, when I saw it must have died within a few hours. I think it hit a window in the early morning. Its eyes were gone but otherwise it was still intact. It actually really helped with my drawings since I was able to handle a bird in different poses without hurting it or it squabbling around. Really interesting. A few days later, I think it was picked up by some kind of hungry animal, because I couldn't find it.
Looks real good, but I didn't fully understand the description. It was dead but still attached to the tree branch?

Well it wasn't this bird. The first specimen I saw of this species had crashed into a window earlier that morning and died, and was on the ground.
