I Hate What I Am

Talmu held on for dear life as they watched the departure of the very thing that made them alive, not dead
For it was the side of benevolence held befitting that did them as much harm now through the fear and dread
I hate what I am, they whispered unto Marco whom smiled as they always did before age came to struck upon their mind
And stroking Talmu's cheek whispered, That's what makes you so beautiful, You're not like all the other kind
Marco's hand slowly slid to drape upon his side, as limp as the day he had arrived to the world anew
And Talmu could not hide their tears, feeling Marco's life slipping within their twisted form just as all others do.

I love this picture and think it's your best work. It's probably because I think it had the best story! I guess a story with written things is great as a submission in itself. That could be a full flash movie! I love how you have such a heartwarming story. I didn't think you could have one with creatures this weird looking.

You really made it work. I do feel sorry for these guys. Maybe I'd have to review these drawings in order to fully understand the story. Well, for the most part, I already have. I feel bad for Talmu with all those weapons in his back. Poor guy!

In no means do I wish to say these words in a negative manner, but the message itself is quite easily apparent. In many ways the meaning within the picture is symbolic, whilst the poetry is highly more direct. If we as a whole took the time to not think in wholes but instead chew in parts and looks past what we may just see, then the hardly understandable, becomes understandable.
