"Stars" is a 3D Universe simulator that I worked on as a school project. All structures are generated, from superclusters to planet surfaces. This is an in-game screenshot with added logo. Textures and logo by Adam Johanides.
A terrestrial planet shone upon from its star. Let this render be a proof that 90% of a model's beauty comes from its normal texture and the lighting shader. Color textures don't matter. (And yes the UVs on the planet are broken somehow)
