A Titanoceratops ouranos, a close relative of the Triceratops, takes a drink along a jungle river. I drew this after reading Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, which I found dreadfully dull and pretentious (not to mention unsubtly racist despite its vaunted anti-imperialist message). However, it did inspire me to create a riverside jungle scene, especially since Conrad likens his protagonist's trip up the Congo River to a journey back into prehistoric times. I reckon that if there were steamboat trips back into the Cretaceous Period, the view from them could have very well looked like this.
