These are some pretty neat sketches. I thought the 2nd image reminded me of Vancha from Cirque du freak, but after skimming through much of the pictures they seem to look more like characters from DBZ? (Especially the 3rd one.)
After seeing some of the completed versions, I can honestly see where you were coming from and what effects and styles your had intended in your drawings. Good job.
