Lord Anubis Bust Idol
This was a graphite drawing, but i digitally colored it.
I think it's rather simple, but several people love it. I've sold afew prints of this on Deviant art. It still surprises me.
Anubis is surprisingly a popular "character" for being a god of Death. It seems that in ancient Egyptian cultures, Death was seen in a good light, and he is truly the most elegant of any death deity in any other culture I have ever seen.

This may be a portrait of the god of death but the way you portrayed him (it?) is probably the way the Egyptians pictured their God o Death. Because to them death was just the beginning to an entirely different life in the afterlife. Just a phase in another one's eternal life.
Loving that radiance you put to this. I love the warmth of the glow that's radiating off of Anubis. Now I wish to see more of your work. :)
