Yeah, often times Qilin are depicted as having parts of their body aflame.
However, other tiems they're depicted as fins, feathers, or tufts of hair.
Weird. But cool.
9 out of 10 because the drawing was slightly blurry. Otherwise, pretty good.

Yeah, it's an anime style blur effect. They use it at Image Comics. I learned it from them when I worked there.
