Notes to self
- drop crappy makeshift DoF or design the pic around it
- don't fucking draw bark for hours when only the char was requested, even if you want to push your ability to draw backgrounds
- crop it better in pre-production so you don't have to draw a gorillian leaves. It doesn't leave that big an impact on the viewer
- remember you're drawing leaf closeups, not fucking spiderwebs
- remember to stay clear of the "DXHR" labeled paint bucket.
- environmental shadows such as leaves on somebody are hit'n'miss if you aren't dedicated to the effect
- no matter how much volume you produce through shadows/lighting, crappy composition and stiff poses can make your pic look 2D any day
