Freakshow at the Supermarket

There was a man at the supermarket with tumors all over his face, carrying his little boy.
When I first saw him I accidently got eye-contact with him. I looked away in shock but noticed that he kept staring at me.
It made me think of this text from Invisible Monsters:
"When no one wants to look at you, you can stare a hole in them. Pick out all the little details you wouldn't have stared at long enough to notice if the person had returned your gaze. This, this is your revenge."
