In this piece I wanted to create a melding of not just traditional pencil drawings and digital inking, but also bring together the different paradigms of sculpture (i.e. with traditional mediums such as bronze, and digital 3D modelling). Also including VR because it's just too cool :D
Of course actual 3D models aren't permitted for the COTM so I decided to bodge it and lay down some rough values for the background and then sketch in the mesh, hopefully taking care to make the contours as accurate as possible.
I wanted an interesting looking barrier between the two portions so decided to add some cool lightning type effects which I think complements the 'futuristic' VR aspect.
This piece took quite a long time (probably the most effort I've put into any artwork to date) but I think it paid off. I enjoy it at least :)
P.S. Too tired to think of a creative name, so you're stuck with Rodin-spiration (-‸ლ)

Any feedback is very welcome, always looking to improve.
EDIT: Thank you Jazza for the inclusion in the showcase(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDH75UMQa64). Made my day! :)
