Though it is a true dragon, it does not have a strong resemblance to its kind. They are known for swimming up rivers to get at animals that come to drink. They lay their eggs on land every two to three years. They have evolved a long neck to pull riverside prey into the water as well as catching crustaceans in deep crevasses.
