Character Concept Sheet: Chester
This is some pretty old art of mine.
I had the idea of some steampunk-esque comic about a group of poor radical kids fighting the man. I never followed through. Figures, aye. This was supposed to be the main character's right hand. I started drawing up a female character and a robot - but, that's where i stopped. I had this whole wintery, steamy city in my head. l. Again, started, didnt finish.
I don't know... I've always really liked looking at concept sketches - i like seeing the process. I really dig Intricate and perfectly lined mechanical sketches - Shirow Masamune (Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, etc) has some really wild stuff.
Davinci's sketches are great as well..
