I haven't heard of them before but just listened to wmd and they have some seriously thick tones! And can't think of a specific song/artist that I was trying to go for but here are some shoegaze bands I really like: whirr, starflyer 59, spotlights, and more recently parannoul
had a feeling when i first heard this track "it sounds a bit like shoegaze with all the distortion on the drums" and what do you know, it's in the tags. wish this was longer/fleshed out

Yeah I agree, at the time of making it I was trying to add some stuff to make it longer and add that structure but nothing really clicked with me
