Reviews for "_-={He's a Pirate Dance Remix"

lol i read ur response to polarbear's review

that's so freakin funny! By god you should so do that like when all ur friends are over at your house. just tell them to wait in a room and turn out the lights running in and saying that!
Also great song man you've definitely got my 10 and 5

MaestroRage responds:

nah my friends are all too serious for this kind of thing. They'd be confused and alarmed, and then one of them would likely try to beat me up with my own arm... the monsters >:(

I suppose I could try though. If you never hear from me again you'll know how it went...

thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

I can see a modern Jack Sparrow in this somwhere.

You know that man always has a suprise somewhere so I'd expect him to pop out of no where and dance to this music with stobe lights everywhere and when the track stops, he dissaprears like that man is kick-ass at and people start to leave because the awsome has stopped D:.

MaestroRage responds:

seriously I could see it happening too... that Jack Sparrow and his wildly modern ways. First he finds Davy Jones' heart, goes off to find the fountain of youth, and now he's popping into places with strobe lights whenever the remix of his song is played.

Simply too awesome...

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

ALTERNATIVE VIEW!!!

*In a 'stiff-upper-lip' tone*

"In this piece Maestro, I see a modern-day discotech with strobelights and several fog machines. Hussies hand out little blue pills, as a figure of Captain Jack swirls about at :50, spinning glosticks on strings."

Hahahahahaha! I'm sorry Maestro, I couldnt resist myself! XD I really do enjoy this! It has great cohesion with the original song, yet it holds a distinctly unique twist to it. Nicely done!

MaestroRage responds:

XD, the imagery was entertaining, but you are incorrect in the assumption that the hussies are handing out blue pills. With the strobe lights at maximum, who can tell what color they really are!? And in the end, it all ends up the same color anyways, so those who are attracted to blue colors will sadly have to look elsewhere *or under different lighting circumstances*, to gain anything out of the party.

I've never spun a glow stick on strings... I could make one hell of a flail! Die by my colory goodness! i'll scream.

Glad you liked it PolarBearWP! The original intention of this song was meant to be... significantly longer. However because this was a new thing for me, 9 hours of work produced only this much, and even this is not really up to par with what I was hoping to achieve.

My next attempt will be better. And with more strobe light action!

Thank you for the review :D!

Nice!

I loved the sound of it, like an epic swashbuckling swordfight on the disco dance floor lol.

MaestroRage responds:

It would be pretty damn epic if they made a dance move called the Pirate XD.

"AAARRRRR, AVAST YE SCURVY BASTARDS! DO THE PIRATE!!!"

*swashbuckling swordfighting like dance moves*

Glad you liked it, thank you for the review!

Maestro

So you decided to finish it off as a remix
Nice move ;]
0:34 was the best recollection from the POTC theme
Great job on not taking too much from the original
yet enough to generally get the same feel from it.
Only thing to complain was the snare roll like at 0:58
it sounds really untouched and rough.
It cut through really hard
it also cuts off very sharp. It's most apparent at 1:30
Cant wait to hear a full length electronic song from you in the future!
great start maestro

-Winter

MaestroRage responds:

heh, trying to stand beside Hans Zimmer in terms of classical orchestration would be murder :(. The man would kill me in his sleep while i'm on another continent, no problem.

That segment was indeed the truest part of the theme. It had to be, or the remix becomes too arbitrary to really be a remix, imo.

The snare rolls later on are indeed horrible. I can't edit the song anymore, so i'll have to resubmit when I make an extended version, which won't be for a while longer i'm afraid!

Thanks a lot Winter, coming from you thats a real compliment! Thank you for the review!

Sorry for the late response :D
