Thanks for the shoutout! It's true that some of the earliest Felix cartoons have fallen into the public domain, but Dreamworks actually took out a trademark on him in 2007--which is apparently a separate thing from "copyright." This was a nasty surprise for us when we started on the reanimate, which is why we made sure to give him his early "Master Tom" look!
