Its excellent for what it is....

For an entry to the castle crashers competition, its great. I can completely imagine playing a video game with this music in the background. However, there are plenty of songs which i can imagine playing a game over and that could be the downfall of this. Although its well constructed, and almost perfectly mixed (although a thicker bass would definitely not go a miss), its not quite unique enough.
Having said that, it would be perfect for a "travelling" part in the game, or somethign which doesn't require a great deal of concentration. You certainly produce some unique music (judging from your other stuff) and i can see why you submitted this as a CC theme. Its definitely in my top 5 (out of the songs ive listened to for the CC contest... and ive listened to a lot). Keep up the good work :)

Very impressed with this but i think your synth/acid line is too loud.

Its a nice blend of classical and trancey elements, it does have a very video gamey sound and if it was going to be more of a real tune, if you get my meaning, some of the sounds would have to be changed to slightly less cheesey ones and there would have to be a few more layers.

also your syncapated bass has no reall bass to it, its just a hit, and your drums sound different volumes in different places.

that said i like the overall feel of the tune, and i don't know what the competition is about but i am sure it stands a good chance

I really love the changes of the styles in here.
When I hear this, the first thing that comes up in me is the word "Castle".
Which means that you made a very good castlecrashers entry =D
