Reviews for "_-={The Desire to Destroy}=-_"

Very Dark and Powerfull song

I found this song to be very powerfull with an excellent mix of darkness.
Very hard drums and well placed crashes.

The loop also gives it alot of flexibility when working with menu's or long scenes.
Keep up the Great work

MaestroRage responds:

as was the intention my good sir! This was originally designed as a boss battle loop and as such it is necessary to make it flexible to this degree. Though I think I could have handled it better, it didn't turn out too badly.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Man the Battlements!

This is great, it just gives off this sense of overwhelming power, willing to destroy anything in its wake.

thanks for making such a great song.

MaestroRage responds:

thanks so much for listening :D!

The vibe and sensation you felt is the dominant idea behind this track, good that you felt it :D!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

A moving piece!

I say "moving" in the sense that it really strikes the nerves and gets you drumming your feet or your fingers as you listen to it. I actually got goosebumps as I listened to this; it sounded like tension building higher and higher with a sudden, well-placed 'pause' at 00:38. In Dark Cut 2, it fit the level it was placed in to a tee.

10/10, 5 in the Portal.

MaestroRage responds:

Dark Cut 2 was indeed quite a marvelous game, and though the song fit it well, we mustn't forget that it was the visuals that really brought out the songs power :D! At least in my opinion.

The tensive energy you feel was exactly what I was hoping to achieve. This track was originally made for a tribal boss fight for Castle Crashers. And of course, tense energy was an absolute must for it.

In any case, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Intense.

Great job... I love this kind of music.

I have a few tracks similar to it, check out Onision.com --- if you have the time to give some wise-feedback. Awesome job.

MaestroRage responds:

hey Onision, sorry for the late response!

I will check out the website soon, and give you some feedback! Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

KILLER!

I love your classical songs about horror and warfare... hope you keep it up!!

MaestroRage responds:

Horror and Warfare is where epic lies, unless it's epic sadness, which lies somewhere else! I'll try to keep up the work!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!
