Simply......Amazing

This music is awe inspiring. Simply put, its F'in awesome. Listening to it gives me shivers. We truly are in the presence of a great composer here, dont stop anytime soon!

Incredible.

The remnants of the 217th Squadron were soldiers whose country had fallen years ago, leaving an anarchic wasteland in its place. When the Revolution occured in 2052, the Brotherhood and Splicer factions, fanatic groups of opposite ideologies, both bent on destroying the other, burned the cities and pillaged the countrysides of all nations. A few groups of former soldiers still wandered the land, scavenging the resources they needed to keep moving, trying to find others still loyal to the fallen nation they served, hoping someday to take back their homeland. The 217th Squadron was one of these groups, but they were in a desperate situation. Brotherhood militants were in pursuit, and gaining ground fast. "Sir, we can't outrun them!" yelled Corporal Adams. "Then we'll fight then off!" Captain Sharpe replied. "All we have is our rifles and a few rocket launchers, and not much ammo for either!" "Then this is our last stand. We charge." Corporal Smith nodded. "Yes sir." He shouted into his radio, "CHARGE! FOR JUSTICE! FOR FREEDOM! FOR AMERICA!"
591 U.S. troops charged against over 3,500 Brotherhood militants.
285 of the U.S. soldiers lived to see the next day. They knew then that the roads did not hold the answer. There would be no more running. They would rebuild civilization. They would restore the U.S.A. to its former glory. Their friends' deaths would not be in vain. Their sacrifice would be remembered.

MaestroRage responds:

There are always things you should fight for. Like your body when it gets lazy and decides to stop breathing. The fight is on then >:(

I'm glad you liked the piece Happyhell, thank you for the review!

brings a tear to my eye

What i see is American soldiers crouching behind a brick wall that is only 4 feet tall trying to take cover from the Nazis mortar rounds blasting all around them. The commander of the group seeing his men being ripped to shreds by the mortar rounds, stands up and starts shooting with his few remaining bullets left for his Colt 45. while walking around with his torso and head exposed not getting shot. He yells to his troops "ready your Bayonets" every soldier that could at least crawl ready their bayonets "Sir what are you doing this is suicide!" "Well if we wait for reinforcements well be dead. We have no more ammo. what else" and with all the bullets wizzing by his face he ordered "Charge!" His 250 remaining men from the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment charged against Nazi
artillery fire, Mg42s, MP40s, and entrenched men with Kark87s taking pot shots at them. He charged along with his men seeing a soldier fall in front of him he dove and grabbed his M1 Grand and now charging with a bayonet. He took a look around at his men, the horrors he saw could not be described by even the greatest writers. He took his sight away from the carnage all around him and tried to remember why he was fighting this horrible war. A picture came to his mind his lovely wife and his 4 children. He sprinted with a force even greater before. Then he saw a frightened face of a Nazi soldier he looked to his side and look on the face of one of his soldiers, absolutely fearless. They reached the Nazi trenches. He was the first one in stabbing a Nazis throat and ripping out the bayonet from the side of his neck. He spun around and hit a Nazi with the butt of his rifle and slicing horizontally into the mans belly, deaf to his screams of pain. He saw his men come rushing into the trenches killing a Nazi bastard that got in their way. After 5 minutes of fighting they got to the Nazi artillery and killing them all with their now blunt bayonets. He stood their smiling and dropped to his knees bleeding from his chest. Based off from the bravest move ever made in War World 2 the Commander was Robert G. Cole he did not die in this battle he was killed by a fucking Axis sniper in Operation Market Garden also of the 250 brave men that charged with him only 132 were left. Always remember the soldiers that have died for the United States of America

MaestroRage responds:

a brave story, and one appropriate, I believe remembrance day is nearby, at least it is here in Canada. To hear that he was killed by a sniper seems like he was robbed the death of a soldier...

A well written tale, and one that is true as well. Rest their souls, the fallen and fighting.

Thank you for the review Blood-Raven, i'm glad you liked the piece.

Constantly Stunned

I think it is physically impossible to dislike one of your songs. I have yet to see a review saying such...

You, Polar, and a Flash animator need to get together XD. Polar with his stories (which I always enjoy reading. They always seem to fit so perfectly), you with the music to base the stories on, and a flash animator to make it into a movie.

And then you need me to watch it eagerly.

MaestroRage responds:

I used to practice drawing in the hopes of one day learning to animate, though this art I left behind to focus purely on music. It would be great to have an animator, Polar and myself working together to achieve something, though I doubt such an opportunity will present itself anytime soon.

I will have to continue telling my stories through music, and truth be told I am quite content with that. I'm afraid my good sir, you will have to be content listening ;).

Glad you're enjoying the works thus far 200monkeys! Thank you for the review!
