Epic potential...
not fully exploited, which is due to the movie's major shortcoming: the transition, or rather lack thereof, between scenes. As the first reviewer, ynotstreetsk8, already pointed out, the constant switching back and forth between part graphics and part storyline [the story is about 20 clicks long] which in some places involves turning on and off of the movie's soundtrack (which otherwise fits the graphics nicely, making the discrepancy all the more harsh) becomes a real nuisance when viewing this submission. On the other hand, the visuals do fit the storyline nicely, e.g. using a black/white/grey coloring scheme combinded with a touch of bloody red when depicting Cain, and are definitely worth the time and effort to look at.
To the author, my suggestions would be:
1) use a different fonttype! This yellow/black/italics melange you use throughout does not fit the doomsday sentiment of the movie as a whole.
2) find a way of addressing the text/sound problem. One way would of doing this would obviously be to have somebody read out the storyline and employ subtitling.
3) although your drawings are stylish, you should try to add something to the background dimension of the different scenes, which for the most part remains plain white; the image of Cain and his son is a good example that it doesn't necessarily take a lot to lend significantly more depth to the different images.
4) as opposed to the drawings, the animation in this movie is rather shallow (e.g. the "ashes" imagery) and could benefit from more variation.
5) finally, when thinking about how to integrate text & sound more closely, try also to focus on the transition from one scene to another.
This is a story which has considerable potential and a huge range of options at its disposal, so it would be interesting to see how an improved version c/would look like (yet fixing the sound problem is only the first step down that road). In its present form, the technical shortcomings unfortunately tend to divert the attention from the story itself and might even have some viewers close down the whole thing prematurely.
