I thought it was based of Madness for some reason, pertty coo overall

Very good

Played it to the end. This game seems to need much more polish for what it's trying to accomplish. The hit boxes for the acid and floor spikes extend even with the floors, so you can be mostly still on solid ground and die. Similarly, the wall spikes appear to extend half to 3/4 across the tile but have the hit box of a full tile. Then conversely the hit boxes of the springs seem much smaller than their true size.

Thank you for your review! The hitboxes are messed up due to me writing the collision engine myself (well with some help from the internet of course) and since the game was made for the gmtk 2021 and I wasn't able to participate except for the last day due private issues I only had a very short duration of time to make the game, since I suck at art I drew the sprites smaller than their hitboxes (I don't know why I did this I was very tired at the time). And the spring collision is bad due to me having to stitch together a fast and horrible bugfix that stopped the spring from launching you more than once after you hit it.

I am currently making the second game and since I am not doing it in a game jam and have an "unlimited" amount of time you can expect much more polish in the second title!
