Reviews for "Solus- Crystalline"

Great

Wow, dude, this would be great in games n movies and shit..
Well whatever, this was quite a nice ambient tune, nice production.
Really soothing and all, would be great for menu music.

That'd be all.

SolusLunes responds:

Oooh! Someone liked it.

I just want someone to use it for menu music, that's all. Really. That's it. :D

Bastard

You bastard, you totally stole my song name >8(Rofl, I don't care, especially when the song is this good.

Its a very bare track and simplistic. Minimalistic, and I like it. You definitely got soundscape mood to it. Some of my old tunes are like this. I love that lush pad sound mixed with the strange FX sound.

I guess only thing I didn't like was how short it was and it was almost too barren.

Expand dude >:)

SolusLunes responds:

FINE!

You all up on's mah back, makin's me expand on songs... grumble grumble, grarh.

I don't know why I made this, I don't know why I spent so much time on the instruments, and I also don't know why THERE ARE ONLY TWO DIFFERENT NOTES ON THE PIANO ROLL!!!

Well... I know why the last one.
Awesomeness, thy name is arpeggio.

I probably will expand, no set timeline or nothin', but it'll probably stay minimalistic. BUT since you're such a bitch, I might make it three notes on the piano roll. Happy?

Peaceful

Very nice - versatile track too - as is, it's a great piece of ambience - I could also hear this used in any of the above - would lend itself well to trance, light DnB, maybe even IDM - it would pretty much fit whatever pecussion (or lack thereof) that you added to it.

The individual scores are a little lower because there's not really all that much to it but what there is of it is really nice. It sounds more like it should be an intro - but either way it sounds very good.

I'm almost sorry to have to make your track into zero-voter bait by giving it a 5. =(

SolusLunes responds:

Yay for LJ reviewing me. :D

You're right- there isn't a lot in that track. In fact, there are but two instruments, and there are only two notes being played the whole song! (Well, on the piano roll, that is.)

The rest of the time was devoted to instrument creation and arpeggio creation.

Almost sorry? You sick bastard. :D
