Short, but interesting minigame. It would be awesome, if was be a compilation of minigames with favorite characters. As FP and Sonic fan - you earn my respect.
That was quick and easy, but looks familiar to Super Mario 64 DS mini-game i guess.

Yeah, that's where the idea came from.
A lot of effort was clearly put into this, though as others have said, the same patterns quickly run thin. This could be solved by simply randomising the order the various faces appear for the existing layouts. I’d also add that the transition times seem unfair; you get a second for a correct guess, but then loose one and a half seconds while the character makes a noise, slides away, and is then replaced by another character, who is then revealed. It would be better if no time was rewarded for selecting the correct characters, but the timer stopped for the transitions. Maybe add milliseconds to the timer to make it obvious that is what’s happening.
It's okay, but after just about 10 screens, I started to get the same patterns, needs more variety. This is just a personal opinion, I think it'd work better with just Sonic characters, they all stand apart better, Carol and that... turtle duck guy... blend together.
