Amazing game!
Here are guides for people:

Guide for journal to spindle (v1):

Progress with the missions until you get to the 60 long and 60 short threads story part, then get about 200k ink storage, and a lot of free ink and quill speed, you can get a lot of points to spend in spindle, DO NOT upgrade draw length (after the upgrading missions) before you have 60 long and 60 short threads.

Guide for forge (v1):
Do not hammer shapes if you don't need perfection, make triangles when making your total shapes higher since it saves lines.

Good game, but I can't figure out how to access the upgrade menu. It says it is below the journal, but I can't close the journal.

Edit: Found it, just had to switch browsers. The one I used zoom in the frame for some reason.

There's no separate menu, the upgrades are the buttons at the bottom, solid blue or white with blue border. '+100% Quill Speed' is the first.

Really nice game, thanks for saving us the tedious "reborn" feature that plagues all idle games :)
A few comments:
1) Would be very nice to know how many of each option we have already bought (especially when linked to tasks). Otherwise or complementarily, a task completion info would be great
2) it was not clear to me that the solids were to be built in the precise order they are presented into. I saved a lot to get my free perfections, and only then figured out that it was not possible before creating the other ones.
3) Some of the constructs' hints don't match their description (often says that only 1 hexagon is needed)

I have played the other idle incremental games by the creator and they are super engaging and fun. i hope they make more of these
