It was funny, and I like the concept quite a bit, but I have to say it wasn't very intuitive. It took me a while to figure out that when text repeated it was because I'd gone backwards in the story, made a wrong choice. At first I just thought the game seemed glitchy and odd, and didn't know what was going on.
You gotta add some way to show the player they're moving, and situate them. Add footsteps when you go left or right, to show you're somewhere else, even if it's an identical looking place, or just have the screen cut to black for a moment and changing background colors.

I hear what your saying, and I actually wanted. to have something like that. But it's already a pretty short game, so I was definitely trying to give it a little edge. Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!
