Nice game
Here are some tips for the Nyx fight if you entered the ziggurat through the main entrance in the previous game. This fight is definitely the hardest so far, but it can be won reliably with proper preparation, even at the beginning of the game.
I recommend using Mella's covenant when fighting Nyx since it has no associated attribute. Nyx's attacks have the metal, lighting, and water attributes, so it is difficult to select a covenant that has an associated attribute without it being weak to one of her attacks. Nyx also hits in quick succession, so with most covenants it can be difficult to heal as well as attack. This is where Mella's "vexing claw" comes in handy.
To win the fight immediately after starting the game, you have to come prepared. I recommend maxing-out your level in chapter 3, tempting Iridia, and using the extra money she gives you to buy a bunch of cheesecakes and some glittering gelatin. It took me about 15-20 cheesecakes to beat Nyx, so buy more than that to be safe.
During the fight, pay attention to the downtime of each spell. At the beginning, when the snake prevents Nyx from attacking, feel free to use penumbra flare, which has a long downtime. Once Nyx starts attacking, use spells with a shorter downtime, like Groundswell. If you use a spell with a long downtime and Nyx attacks twice before you can heal, you're dead. Try to keep Vexing Claw active at all times and try to keep your health above 600 at all times. Otherwise, a critical hit will easily kill you.

nyx and nox: hardest fight so far, shows up immediate during main entrance (not done with secret cave), but can fight whenever, I carried AT LEAST 20 cheese cakes and 5-10 glistering gelatin from a previous save and that was not guaranteed to win, her tempt bar also is annoyingly durable. if you don't have a previous save or can't find one, then good luck since the strongest heals are 350+ (cheesecake is 500+). beating her drops mutagen which removes some of your used stat point (21 but I don't know if its fixed) so you could rearrange them. of course, this is if you fight her immediately, so I recommend you level up before starting the fight so you don't rage quit.
