The controls feel pretty good, but some *motions at spike launchers* stages have lag issues for some reason

The game started lagging after a few minutes or if being stuck on a level for some time. The lag may help in timing and pin-point jumping, but also makes spikes a bit unpredictable.
As others mentioned, refreshing solves that issue. What also helped me personally was just disabling all sounds and putting the sound metres to 0, it didn't lag after that anymore. Too bad I only discovered this around lvl 47.
While refreshing I noticed that the last 2 lvls that I finished pre-refreshing would show as not played, so I had to play some lvls multiple times for being stuck on a lvl after them. It mostly happened to me at lvl 46, making me repeat lvl 44 and 45 a whopping 3 times.
Despite those issues I still managed to finish the game :)
Tip: holding W or the up arrow makes jumps higher and take more time. That's helpful, for example to save time on those plattforms that only allow a number of hits.
