Reviews for "Sonia GO (v1.1 - Demo]"

Glorified popup ad. When will devs learn that this tactic only makes people even less likely to support them?

Yet another "game" that's little more than an ad for someone's patreon. I genuinely have a burning hatred for this kind of thing. If this was a preview to something you would release for free later down the line, where patreon supporters could have access to it earlier than others, or if it was, you know, a game with some actual content, with some extra/special content that patreon supporters can access, me and a lot of others would be more forgiving. When you release a "game" like this, where it's basically as bare bones as possible (and in the case of A rated games, keeping practically all the things that would give it an A rating locked away to the point that T rated games have more sexual content in them) you're only going to drive people away, not just people like me who genuinely cant go about throwing their money into patreon for one reason or another, but you're also driving away people who might be willing to support you. To those people, there is barely anything here that would make them think "Wow, I really like this guys work! I think Ill go support him!" People will support the creators they love. Adding little incentives such as early access or extra content in already existing games can help to draw in some more supporters, but trying to strongarm people into supporting you through this sort of thing is only going to drive them away and hurt you.

Typical PAYtreon submission.

So... first of all, kind of surprised by the sudden ask of money in the "game", and i had to restart the web page cause i couldn't go back to it from the "pay for the nsfw" part.

Second, the animation and VA are nice, but it's just so little... no more than a gif for 5$ seems excesive. Just my impression, though.

The only + I can give is the really good animation. Locking everything else behind a paywall is disappointing. In your former games, the insentive to check out your patreon was always there because one could always see part of the NSFW goods beforehand, peaking our interests. This one is just straight up scummy. Animation, game author, all these things aren't easy, not at all, but don't lower yourself to this level!
