I loved this! Not as much as Amy loves Sonic. I thought it was just beautifully animated. I mean, it was great to see everything flow so naturally. Besides that, it was great to see these characters explored. I've never read the IDW comics.
I've read the Archie comics. It's a pity they were cancelled. At least there's some Sonic comics going on. I loved the dialogue. The action was great too.

Whoa...Fantastic film.
You've done a top-notch job capturing their personalities and even the fighting styles of Sonic and Amy. I've not seen the first episode yet, but was able to pick up on the story well enough.
The animation looks great, as do the designs. Many small touches show high attention to detail and a deep love for the source material.
Keep up the great work.
