Reviews for "Momental Visions"

Absolutely love it. The "rough" handdrawn landscapes and characters instantly create a vibe. Some nice smart sound design as well. Dont know what is going on but there is definitely some great atmosphere here. Try to send it to some festivals man, you never know.

Can't wait what you will create next!

Thanks! :D
It would be a great idea to, but I'm not really sure if the staff wil accept it. Still, thanks for your advice!

Wow. Wow, wow, wow! I love this! So much effort put into it, so much creativity. This is really a work with soul. It's not just something you made to look like you're so deep or whatever.
It's got a good sense of humor, but it's also got a really interesting reality-bending story that isn't spoonfed to the viewer. Now, my guess is, in regards to the meaning, that this guy is imagining all of this as he's dying, reliving his last moments, at the end realizing the fact he's dead. This comes from the flower guy's "monologue" showing him phasing through a door and getting chopped in half and the repeated transitions through his head. Versions of him that have been chopped in half are also pretty common in the movie. The thing that confuses me is the ever-growing building.
The animation is amazing, I love the textures. Sometimes it feels like a more conventional but well animated cartoon, other times it's a little Gilliam-esque. The sounds are also incredibly ambient and serve the story well.
Keep it up, I've followed you already!

Thank you so much for your kind words! You really made my day there.
I have to say, i liked your interpretation of the thing, even to the point where my original intentions fade out a bit.
In my opinion, the formentioned "flower guy" also could be describing to the main character how him passing through the door is connected to the addition of more disfunctional bodies and how the growth of the building is influenced by them growing in number directly. Also, yes, the building relates to the hero in some way, as it was shown in the monologue. I wouldn't want to point out a lot of things specifically, because it might spoil the whole idea, however I think that an Idea of paying close attention to the main characters anatomy would be a good one
