i really like it it has a lot of potential, the only complaints i have are that the idle animations look kinda weird and the knockback for getting hit it's kinda too much, but pretty good anyway overall keep it up m8, hope to see the complete version

It's good, needs some work.
The key combinations are awful to me, why wouldn't you make "jump" be "W" if left and right are "A" and "D"?. The secondary weapon thing was weird on my fingers as well.
Needs some improvement on dialog, no offense but it is off in a lot of places.
Overall neat idea, but maybe speed the enemies up, background noise besides music, and possible make it to where you can set your own keys?
hard controls and there are also some bugs:
1) evil hands, caused by Roaring Box demon, always remain on the screen after defeat in final battle, that looks hilarious.
2) each time player loses, used items disappear, WHY THE HELL?? Too strange saving system.
Anyway, that's a good start, good luck in further work.
Add a control scheme with arrow keys for movement and I will surely rise my score.
