Reviews for "Idle RPG"

I'm confused

hero lvl at 18, 30% more exp and it's 19, got to monster 171 with everything maxed, now i got the gold to get potions to finish it off, not gonna do it b/c that would require me to stare at nothing much happening for another 5 to 15 mins, i've already spent about 30 to 40 mins on the game.

it's a decent game for sure but it's not realy idle as another comment claimed, the game pauses when it's not on screen and it pauses when the hero dies.

the things it can improve upon is make it so it can run in the background, have a few more monsters so that this game can't be finished within 90 mins and make it so that the hero gets reborn from the start every time the hero dies, that way it can truly be called an idle game. it would also need something that would players want to come back to the game, i'm not sure what that might be, i'm not very good when it comes to these idle games, they aren't within my intrest, other than i like to see things develope like it has an intelligence of its own and this game doesn't have it.

otherwise it's a nice short little game, not worth paying for if you'd ask me but i do hope that you get the support you need to make something great one day.

Has anyone beat this?

JasonNumberThirteen responds:

Me. Personally.

cool game

JasonNumberThirteen responds:

Many thanks.

First of all it is not an idle game - an idle game continues when it is turned off, and this even stops when it is off screen.

Secondly this is bare boned - if graphics aren't your bag, then at least make a story, telling us why we have to sit and look at numbers - tell us what the new weapon is and so on, for example:

" with the mighty sword of Titans, The Hero of the Elements tore through the 10th enemy Mofat - blood and gore fell to the ground along with a single tear from the hulking mass that was our hero... but this was not the time to feel, for there was still 239 monsters between him and Suran - the final battle that would determine the fate of the world, if not out heros soul."

Thirdly... I saw the name 'Jason' and thought this would be a Friday the 13th game... perhaps just add your last name to the mix, or an initial, because, some people like me will be disappointed when an iconic name like that is used for something completely unrelated, especially when 'Jason' isn't actually a part of the title of the game

JasonNumberThirteen responds:

You're right about disabling game when isn't visible. I'll fix that, but the rest of your opinion is weird for me.

Idle game may work when it's disabled, but may not. It's up to developer if this has to work while the game is terminated or not. I don't believe this is one of primary rules of this game genre describes that this must be implemented and no discussion.

Next thing you mentioned is the story. Maybe this is a good element for text-based games, but I have a concept to keep everything simple. For me, this is another secondary thing.

The last one touches my pseudonym. Strange accusation, really. I'm using this title for 3 years and you are just now paying attention to this. No one else wasn't "disappointed" when wrote opinion like this. Especially when you noticed already that Jason doesn't exist in the title and this coincidence with my artistic name and the popular Voorhees, well...not my fault. Strange opinion ever.
