Played game all the way through and completed everything in order to achieve the full experience and Play+ was hands down the most annoying thing I've had in this game when it comes to going upwards.
Game idea is ok, but not very interesting. Gets boring real fast, has no music. A very trial-and-error game, with very repetitive deaths until you fine "just the right way" or "it just works". One example is where you have to throw your ball upwards into the goal with one toss. It's not explained how to easier obtain height, and can get very frustrating. Sure, you can just play on normal and "practice" it, but you may as well do the same thing on Play+.
There are hidden controls on moving forward or backwards into stage levels, and spacebar toggles between normal and Play+. There's no sandbox mode that lets you practice your tossing to help people understand this game's physics. It's all trial and error, learn as you go.
Needs a proper reset button. Too many levels have wait times for you to die if you mess up an action, where your death is slower due to a slow toss. Many stages have you waiting on Play+ to drop the ball then make your action, but upon death and respawning, you're dropping the ball immediately. The method that was given to us (and never explained) was to hold down the mouse button on death.
Overall a 2.5 for me as it's very repetitive for a puzzle game, a lot is left unexplained, there's no music, and the controls are somewhat jank. The lack of a practice room to hone your skills is unfortunate, but the biggest reason I have given this a 2.5 isn't because of all of these. These issues would score it at least a 3.5. The biggest issue is this: "It was actually finished months ago, but now I can release it, yay!" This game had been developed and finished for a while but is lacking so many things. No tutorial, no control explanation, respawns for levels in Play+ which require you to wait force you to learn about holding the mouse on death, etc. I keep bring it up over and over, I know, but it's a deemed finished product/project by the author for MONTHS, and is missing many things. It's as if they had waited for some specific event of sorts to release this.
Edit: Due to the information provided to me from the author's reply and the circumstances that are unaware to me as just an end-user (such as uploading schedules and whatnot), I've increased the score to a 3.5. Things out of the author's control should not be counted against them, as well as intentional game designs. I may not agree with them, but they are made this way with intent rather than "bad game making". I feel that this can improve a lot more, but the way it stands it's still a very playable game, which offers a hell of a challenge with the Play+ mode.
