Reviews for "Warzone World"

Where am I supposed to build the barracks? I won't let me click anything beyond the edge of the little arrow to the side, and even there I can't click jack... I do want to try it, but I really can't get past that...

Many thoughts: as it is now the premise is good, the art is good, the game functions just fine, but the game isn't fun because of how grinding it is. As an example of how this game's grind isn't balanced, I built all structures and had all units before I finished conquering the one territory I was attacking. There simply wasn't enough attacking. I consider myself a very patient person, but after draining my spins maybe four times and not conquering three territories, the only reason I finished the game was because I could get enough money to nuke two countries for each time I watched an ad (for cash, not spins).
Some ideas for reducing the grind:
Are the military units supposed to increase the chance of spinning an attack? That function doesn't seem to work. The spy adds the steal ability, but after that I was stealing much more often than I was able to attack. The chance of attack needs to significantly increase to keep the game interesting.
All of the timers should be around a couple minutes (or even shorter!) rather than an hour. The mine will take how many days of game play to pay itself off?
Conquered countries that had mines should pay out every thirty seconds or so to gain momentum as you go, otherwise, why am I bothering to take over the world? I'm not getting rich or any more powerful than I was before I conquered my first territory.
We should be able to rebuild conquered countries and conduct missions from them. Maybe every time I spin "attack" each of my territories can attack. That way the game gains momentum as you progress.
What is the purpose of the defensive structures if the other countries never attack?
The reward for having all structures and units didn't pay out until I beat the game. I get that you would need to code it to not pay out every time I buy a nuke.

I see people give out two stars for a functioning game, but I don't believe in that. You have put together something with lots of potential, like basketball without back-boards or soccer on a hill. Balance things out and it can be a fun game, but what it is now is not fun. Try to have some friends play test your games to find better balance before sending it out to get so many no-stars.

Thanks for the feedback, you're totally right I guess. I shall definitely learn from this.

don't even consider this a game

Maybe a way of purchasing spins? The wait time for additional spins is a bit extreme for only getting 5. Maybe win spins for victories? Just a thought. Also, it would be more challenging if you had to start from a "Base" country, and spread from there. A little more like "Risk", for us older people!

ktm00 responds:

Thanks for your useful feedback. The mobile version actually has the capability to purchase spins and cash. Good idea also concerning a starting base country. I took your feedback into consideration and updated the game to make the rewarded ads more generous. We'll hopefully make the next game better. Cheers

nope. Gambling, clicker, idle. oh, yes and boring.
