I don't get the reference, but the style was nice and I liked the joke itself. The ending was funny to me because it was a nice joke and because it was just so silly that the Decepticons were doing this instead of fighting the Autobots. I didn't even know they could have optical sensor prescriptions. I liked Starscream's voice throughout.
The joke before that would have been nice too if they weren't both wrong. The Pythagoras theorem says that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the two legs of a right triangle. This would have had it be square roots. It would have been funny if there were a third guy who corrected them both or if Starscream only messed up the type of triangle and the other guy corrected him with the hypotenuse of a right triangle. That would accentuate Starscream's stupidity better. My first suggestion would have been a better joke overall.
Overall you have a nice style and this was pretty funny, but you should be careful with math jokes in the future.
