good litle game with a simple story!

I found a game breaking glitch. I gave the popcorn to the fat ghost to get his soul, but when he drops it I can't pick it up because his body is in the way. I left the room and came back and now he's gone so I can't get the soul at all.

That’s odd - the ghost should disappear entirely when you help him move on - I’ll check this out and push an update to fix this - this was happening on Newgrounds yeah? And you where playing whilst connected online? The only thing I can think that causes this issue is if you disconnected from Newgrounds (a medal is pushed when you complete a quest - which if you aren’t connected it jumps the destroy event)
That being said you don’t actually need the souls to complete the game - once you pass the quest the soul counter increases and regardless of you picking it up or not
At first it's a little confusing but all the clues you need are right there for you. You just gotta explore and click on things. It's actually pretty easy if you think about it, but when you haven't played and dunno what to expect it does come off as difficult. Which means, imo, they balanced the difficulty superbly.
The graphics and audio are both beautiful, nothing else I can really say. Simple and well designed.
The scripting and pacing is also stellar, the jokes are a bit cliche but the game puts you in a good mindset and so the jokes are funny even if they wouldn't be otherwise. Most of the jokes are legitimately good though imo, like the phone.
Overall, probably one of the best games I've played in awhile that takes less than an hour to complete ^^.
