Reviews for "Interface | Episode 06"

Great work man, this gave me shivers

My word, it just keeps getting better and better!

The inclusion of all these paintings as allegories are stellar. From Dali's painting representing the emergence of the "New Man" Mischief sees, to the Blue Guy representing Mankind or the "Son of Man" from Magritte's painting, it is all utterly brilliant! I also am astounded by the cinematography and how you utilize it according to the story. It truly brings another special element and quality to this series.

Please, keep this series and more going. You have earned my support!

Thanks Negotiations! :)

Salvador Dali and the Twilight Zone all rolled up together.

Never seen Mischief frowning before. As always, the style was great, music was great, etc. We've gone over that already. The best parts of the episode visually would be the rose and just all of the lighting in the flashback. I love those colors. Blue guy's cigarette flying out of his mouth was cool too. I wonder if it was a callback to episode 1 when Mischief took his cigarette. Both times he was facing something new and important. Maybe I'm digging too far into it. I like that we got to see some backstory for Blue Guy. I suppose Muschief wasn't expecting this to happen, since it's the only time he's ever frowned. The shot of Blue Guy lying on the ground was great. Mischief could probably tell that Blue Guy left something behind, I guess that's why this whole fever dream started in the first place. I don't know what to think about him being immortal. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I saw that you're up to episode 8 on YouTube. The "Mom died" thing is a bit cliched, but I can forgive it. So I guess Blue Guy just couldn't move past his trauma and his life lost all meaning. That's why his idea of a good time is looking at mannequins now. He's basically the polar opposite of Mischief, who embraced change and moved on. Mischief forced him to confront the past, and that broke him down. It's interesting how the creepy clown-snake turned out to be the more positive character. I don't really have anything else to say about this one. Good job, you've got me hooked.

It is almost difficult to explain how much detail and thought went into this movie. The animation not only flows well, but the art looks impressive. There are plenty of Easter Eggs if you keep your eyes open. Keep up your excellent work.
