I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it, but I wouldn't have if not for the help of my phone and the walkthrough. I already had the idea that the 7-letter word literally resulted in the word 'longer' by removing one but I didn't think of the word 'lounger', doesn't really sound like a real word in my head. As for 'creep' how the HELL was I to figure that one out myself?! Where was there ANY hint for that word? Not only that, but cut out the back of the empty case?! Without the walkthrough I NEVER would have thought of that because there's no sign that I could see that there was something hidden back there! As for why I needed my phone, I guess paper and pencil would have sufficed but all the same, there's no way that that crap could be memorized. I'm surprised I even managed to memorize the yellow lines and get that big block of lights right on the first try! I think, once more, most people would need to either take a picture or use paper/pencil.
If this little game had come out 25 years ago or even 20 years ago when I still didn't have a full grasp of the internet, I never would have been able to finish this game because I never would have been able to figure out 'creep'. The other matters I could deal with by using paper and given time I likely would have figured out that 'longer' one, but really I'd have been pretty lost without the walkthrough. That's why this game doesn't get five stars, mostly because of the 'creep' one. Also, yeah, as sharpnova mentions below (or above?) the pictures of the 'friends' looks quite strange compared to the rest of it. The backgrounds were cool though, and the music was good. I think 4.5 stars is a bit generous but I'll stick with it.
